1) USA vs Canada
The United States has regained its position as the top choice for Indian students aspiring to study abroad, edging out Canada, which was in first place last year, a new survey has revealed. Around 18.84% of learners cited the US as their top choice, followed closely by Canada at 17.85%. Long visa waiting time has not hampered from US becoming the first choice. Better quality of education, job prospects continue to attract Indian students to the US. Canada on the other hand offers flexible PR policies and superior higher education system.

2) Germany an Emerging Education Destination

According to the report, Germany (13.21%) took the no.3 spot in the list followed by the UK(11.34%). Indian students have started considering Germany highly due to factors like multiple scholarships, grants, and bursaries the German government offers. In 2022, Germany hosted 34,134 Indian students, with most opting for various branches of engineering, followed by management, social, and natural sciences.
